Salty water in a Bali villa: what to record before testing

Start with what you know

A salty taste already noticed should be recorded, not repeatedly tested by tasting more water. An area name or distance from the sea does not establish the cause at your property. Start with supply history and an appropriate laboratory question.

Make the record specific

If the change followed a delivery, keep the delivery record and explain whether the tank still contained earlier water. That sequence helps an assessor plan samples; it does not prove that either supply caused the change.
