The website operator shown above is responsible for the personal information processed by Bali Water Check. Contact the listed email address and identify this service when asking about your information.

Your property checklist

The free check records your approximate area, selected observations, water source, property type, role, intended next step and timing. No exact property address, name, phone number or email is needed to create it. Your answers select predefined preparation guidance; this does not create a water-safety score or make a decision with legal or similarly significant effects about you.

We process the requested checklist to provide the service you ask for. A private cookie controls access to the result. Reports expire after 30 days. Questionnaire progress without contact details is stored in your browser for seven days; operational funnel records are retained for up to 90 days.

Optional emails and subscriptions

Email options are offered only when delivery is available. The result page shows the available saving methods. When you request an email copy, we process your email, optional first name, linked report and confirmation history to deliver that requested copy. Confirmation links expire after 24 hours; unconfirmed contacts are removed after seven days. A copy alone does not subscribe you.

Guide updates and specialist-availability updates require separate, unselected opt-ins and confirmation. We rely on consent for these optional updates. Guide subscriptions expire after 365 days and availability interests after 90 days unless renewed. We record the wording, version, time and confirmation of the choice. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Contacts with no current subscription purpose are removed after 30 days of inactivity.

Contact messages and professional applications

When you send a message or application, we store the fields you provide and use them to respond, assess the application or handle your request. Enquiries about an intended service are processed to take steps at your request; other correspondence and professional applications are handled for our legitimate interest in operating and supporting the service. Contact messages are deleted after 730 days. You may ask us to remove an application or correspondence earlier, subject to an applicable need to retain it. Do not send medical records, identity documents or unnecessary third-party information.

Security and optional analytics

We use secure-session cookies, expiring links, rate limits and restricted administrative access. Security processing supports our legitimate interest in preventing abuse and protecting records. Expired rate-limit records are removed by daily maintenance; administrative audit records are retained for up to 365 days. Completed delivery-job records are retained for up to 30 days.

Optional page analytics require your consent. This includes our own site statistics and Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-MVKND8B8WX). Google receives public page views, clicks that start a water check, browser/device information and cookie identifiers. We exclude private report, email, preference, administrator and partner routes, remove query strings from page URLs and do not send form answers, names or email addresses as analytics fields. Our own statistics are stored for up to 365 days. Changing the analytics choice stops future optional recording. Questionnaire completion events needed to operate the requested check are separate from optional page analytics. See cookies and browser storage.

Infrastructure and access

The application and database run on a server supplied by Hetzner Online GmbH, a German hosting provider. The current server location is Singapore. Domain name resolution uses Cloudflare; visitors connect directly to the application server. Fonts are served from this website. The map loads its coastline data, area points and map worker from this website; it does not request third-party map tiles.

Google Analytics is supplied by Google. With analytics consent, the browser loads the Google tag and sends measurement data to Google servers, which can involve international processing. Advertising storage, advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled in our tag configuration. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google’s privacy policy. Consent to earlier first-party-only statistics is not treated as consent to Google Analytics.

Email delivery uses Brevo. It receives the recipient address, message content (including the requested checklist and private links) and technical delivery information to send confirmations, requested copies and updates you separately choose. Brevo processes delivery and, depending on its tracking configuration and your email software, opening and link-click events. These email events are separate from optional website analytics. We do not import your information into unrelated marketing lists. You can use the printable checklist without requesting email and contact the operator about email records or deletion.

The operator is established in Cyprus, the service concerns Bali and the server is in Singapore. This involves processing outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Access is limited to authorized service operations, connections use HTTPS and database services are not publicly exposed. Contact the operator for information about applicable cross-border arrangements and safeguards. A link to a supplier's policy is information about that supplier, not a claim of independent certification.

Backups support recovery and rotate on daily, weekly and monthly schedules, with retention of approximately 7, 28 and 186 days respectively. Access is restricted. Deleted information can remain in a backup until that copy expires; restored data must have current deletion and withdrawal decisions reapplied before it is used for contact.

Providers and external links

The current information service does not forward checklist answers or availability interests to water-service providers. A future introduction requires a new request and fresh sharing permission. External source links lead to independent websites with their own privacy information. We do not sell your contact details.

Your rights and choices

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy where applicable, object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw optional consent. Use email preferences when you have access, or email the operator. We may request proportionate information to verify identity. You can complain to the relevant data-protection authority, including the authority in your habitual residence or the Cyprus Commissioner for Personal Data Protection.

Changes

This notice describes the current service. Material changes to purposes, providers or email processing will be reflected here and communicated where required. Optional permission is not automatically extended to a new purpose.
