Prepare a property-specific brief

Ask the supplier to explain the inlet requirements, storage arrangement and final drinking outlet. Plan access for servicing before agreeing to an under-sink installation. A quotation should identify the entire maintained system, including components before and after the membrane.

Questions for the proposal

• Which measured substances is this exact model designed to reduce?
• How much usable output is specified under our inlet conditions?
• What drainage, power and space are needed?
• How will the final outlet be checked after commissioning?

Compare model documentation, installation scope and replacement-part costs across the same intended drinking use. Keep the quote date, included work, exclusions and responsibility for follow-up in writing. Ask who handles a change in performance after handover and what evidence they will need.
