A useful budget starts with scope

A single “Bali water filter price” can hide very different jobs. A dedicated drinking outlet, treatment for a whole villa and repair of existing equipment are not interchangeable purchases. We do not have a verified current local price survey, so this guide gives you a comparison worksheet instead of an unsupported range.

Compare one brief across suppliers

Send the same water report, intended outlets, occupancy pattern, equipment photos and available space. Ask each supplier to state its assumptions. If one proposal includes drinking-outlet treatment and another does not, resolve that difference before comparing totals.

Build your own first-year figure

Add the quoted one-time costs to the service and consumables expected under the supplier's written plan. Keep the date, currency and tax treatment on every quote. Do not turn an estimate for one household into a typical island-wide price.

Check the promise behind the price

Ask which findings support the proposed equipment and what the exact model is documented to address. A longer list of stages or a more expensive product name is not a complete performance specification.

Prepare before requesting prices

Start a water check and read the testing guide. The checklist is free; external equipment, tests and visits have separately agreed costs.

Questions worth asking

Does this guide assess water at my property?

No. It provides general context and a preparation checklist. A property-specific assessment needs appropriate inspection or testing.

What can I do without contacting a provider?

Create the free water checklist, print it and collect the records and questions described in this guide.
