Water delivery and storage in Bali: a property checklist

Keep the delivery and the tank in the same record

A delivery is one event in the property's water route. Record the supplier, date, receiving tank and intended use alongside existing source and maintenance information. A delivery receipt is not a test result for every downstream outlet.

Before the delivery

Ask the owner or manager which tank will receive the water and whether other supplies feed that tank. Confirm access and who is responsible for accepting the delivery. Keep drinking-water arrangements separate from general property-water arrangements.

Save a useful handover

If something changes afterward

Report the sequence rather than assigning blame: what was observed, where and when, what supply events occurred and what treatment was operating. Ask the assessor whether source, stored-water and final-outlet samples would answer different questions.

Plan maintenance with the right people

Do not enter a tank, open pressurized equipment or improvise chemical cleaning. Ask an appropriate contractor for a written work scope, downtime plan and return-to-service instructions. Keep the completion record with the property file.
